Silver monstera (Monstera siltepecana) is a little gem of a houseplant that hails from Central American tropical forests. Attractive, easy-to-grow, and adaptable, it does best with moderate to high humidity and in part to full shade. The plants in cultivation are sold primarily in the  immature silver patterned leaf form (what we offer) but in time this species will change into a fenestrated (with leaf cut outs) green leaf mature plant, much like the more common Swiss Cheese Plant of the trade. It is a good candidate for larger terrariums. One of the most popular species we offer.
